The Perro Lobo Herreno or Hierran Wolfdog is a feisty, very noisy, robust and loyal dog with fast reflexes. He is very shy around strangers, however does not attack without reason. He is very loyal to his owners and other family members. He was used as a shepherd dog in the Canary Islands.
