Short description

The Savannah is one of the biggest cat breeds. She is full of energy, and would like to have a lot of space and many conspecifics. If you want to take her outdoors, walk her on a leash or put her in a fenced area. She needs a lot of attention, and vehemently demands the owner's attention by prodding him/her. Because the Savannah originates from the Serval, the first four generations must be registered. Only the 5th generation is considered a pet and there are no more special housing conditions like for the first four generations.

This information is indicative and adheres to the breed standard. Each animal is an individual and has a personal character, as well as its own needs. Thus, a breed is not a guarantee of certain behaviors, etc.
